Meet Dr. Beaman

Dr. David Beaman

Psychiatrist, MD, PMH-C

Dr. Beaman completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville and medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He subsequently began his residency at Florida Atlantic University in general psychiatry and has called Florida home ever since. He likewise pursued additional certification for perinatal mental health.

Dr. Beaman’s method blends a deep understanding of the biological basis of care with a rich appreciation of the social and psychological aspects that can affect mental health. He strongly believes that the goal of treatment isn’t just to reduce symptoms, but to enable patients to live fulfilling lives.

While he is knowledgeable in all fields of adult psychiatry, he has particular expertise with bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and perinatal mental health.
